My administrator has been cleaning up my site. He found 100,000 users registered from other countries like China and Russia. He thinks a bot was running in the registrations. They are now gone. My site is limited to the U.S. and Canada only now.
He purchased a new server for his home. The one he was using was getting very old and needed replacing. We run our computers on his server so that was important to us and we appreciate all that he does for us. The website we use has been up and running since yesterday afternoon.
Unfortunately he had to run a script to clean up the bot and the registrations and he thinks it wiped out all of my subscriber accounts not just the bogus ones. You will need to sign up again. I apologize for the inconvenience but he had no good way to clean up the database and it was causing problems. There are precautions now in place so that these bogus registrations do not happen again.
Everything is up and running perfectly this morning.
