Last Friday I became independent again! I am now driving. My cardiologist took that restriction off on Thursday after he reviewed all of my heart tests. I wore a heart monitor from August 18th until September 18th. He was worried that the connectivity of the left side of my heart was not working properly. The monitor did not show any evidence of high grade connectivity disease or any significant pauses. This was great news! I will be going back to him in October to get all the results including the ones from my Echo and my Nuclear stress test. Hopefully those results will be good news too.
For you guys this means that I will be back blogging in the next couple of days. Because I had to take it easy with the heart monitor, I was limited on what I could do like driving. Hubby had to take me everywhere for appointments and errands. We did very few errands because he hates doing them. Eloise was so sad that she couldn’t curl up on my chest when I was at the computer. I had to keep putting her down and she was not happy about that. It had become a routine when I would have my coffee in the morning. I was afraid she would push a button on the monitor and they wouldn’t get clear results. I also had to be very careful that I didn’t damage it. Before we could even have it put on at the cardiologist’s office and go home, I had to sign that if it got damaged, I would have to pay $2500. That was not something I wanted to do. So it was returned both clean and in perfect condition.
So Eloise is back to our routine and purrs the entire time. We are both very happy to be back to normal. Hubby is delighted!
My house is not as clean as I like it and I have many projects to work on in the next few weeks. We will be having family for Thanksgiving this year so I want to get this house back in order. So I will post all that I will be doing as I do it, especially getting my stockpile back in order. I have many bags sitting in that pantry on the floor that need to be organized on shelves. I will be making a list of the items that will go on sale for Thanksgiving that I need to stockpile for the next year. I am praying that butter goes on sale at a great price. I have never been so low on butter.
So I will be back very soon. Sooner than you might think.
I want to thank everyone who prayed for me. You are so appreciated!

Hi Precious, this is great news about your health. All praise and thanksgiving to God for His goodness to you and your family.
Poor Eloise, out of her routine, so glad she is back to purring again. I am so glad you guys will have family for Thanksgiving this year.
I will be looking forward to reading about what you want to stock on for the holiday season. I will be looking for deals also and will chime in what I find. First of all, we were at Costco last week and got some of the full size candy bars to give out for Halloween. They had Mars and Hershey and I bought one of each. The Mars ones were on markdown, but I think that sale is over.
Hi Chris,
Thanks so much and for all your prayers.
It will be nice to have Thanksgiving here again.
Well you will read about it today once I get it posted.
Nice score on the Halloween candy. We only do Halloween for the children on either side of us. Too many diseases going on in the schools each year that we do not want to pick up. So I get something special for the 4 kids who are my direct neighbors and that is it. We take them over to their parents the day or so before Halloween to give to them that day. However with chocolate being so expensive this year, I may stock up on chocolate bars after Halloween when they go rock bottom for dessert fondue and cookies during the year.
What wonderful news!
We have cut way back on groceries just eating a whole lot less (I have lost 20lbs) and I am not really hungry most days. Our grocery bill was 937.00 in August and so far only 543.00 this month. We lost Shelby kitty 2 weeks so I am happy Eloise is happy again!
Hi Patti,
Congrats on your weight loss! $43. is wonderful!
I am so sorry about Shelby. It’d hard to lose a pet. When Precious died, I decided that I would never get another pet. But 7 years later I saw Eloise who needed to be rescued. We are so happy we got her.
